Two Peas In a Pod
July 17, 2018
It is written in the Word of God that all followers of Jesus shall endure persecution. It is also written that all people are purposed at birth. Thus, Persecution and Purpose are two peas in a single pod, i.e. the shell. They seem to be contrary one to the other. Yet, they work together to achieve a single goal.
My assignment to write for God was revealed in 2001. My first book, Mine, was published in 2015. Purposely Unchained was published in July 2018. Although my commission is from God, I often find myself checking with Him to make sure I am writing according to His Will and purpose. As to the need for my book, Purposely Unchained, God affirmatively answered my question in an unexpected way.
This past weekend, I attended a women’s conference. There were several great speakers, including Minister Joyce Esteves, wife of Pastor Chris Esteves of Lifeway Church Ministries. All spoke exceedingly well beyond measure, in my opinion, on the wonder and love of God and how He wants His people, including His women, to be strong in love and Faith as they step into their Godly purpose.
On the last day, all speakers gathered as a group to answer written questions from the audience. God answered my inner musings as to the need of my latest book Purposely Unchained during this session. I applaud the courageous women who spoke up, through their written notes, to reveal their issues with probably the greatest problem/s that beset Christian believers—persecution and forgiveness. God used their courage to confirm the need for my book Purposely Unchained.
Jesus told the first disciples to go forth and SHOW the world what they had been taught. Purposely Unchained [PU] is a “show and tell” book. It is the story of my early-on, first-hand, experience with understanding the purpose of persecution and tribulations and overcoming the attacks from the devil. More so, not only does PU illustrate the necessity and importance of the Word of God in our lives today, it discloses the “how” to walk in obedience, as God showed it to me. PU shares them as “Failsafe Steps.” Lastly, PU reveals how God through His Holy Spirit remained with me and guided me throughout this journey to Great Faith without Fear, [an eternal promise to all believers in Him].
The Failsafe Steps work.
