A unique recipe for Rest

July 10, 2018

Many scriptures are simple and easy to understand. For instance, don’t lie, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery, etc.  And then, It is written in Matthew 11: 28-29, Jesus said, Come, [to us also]  those who are troubled and weighted down with care, [BIBLE BASIC ENGLISH] and I will give you rest.  I initially could not comprehend how Jesus could possibly give me rest from life events that were wearing me down.  Then, in my mind, God is spiritual. But, daily life was more real and oftentimes in my face—through people. Purposely Unchained illustrates how Jesus took the time to prove that He is greater than anything that was taking place in my life.

Throughout both books [Mine…, and Purposely Unchained] I promote His truth that it is necessary to know His Word in order to KNOW our value and purpose.  But, there is one more thing needed.  Jesus makes it clear that ‘Simply reading’ the scriptures without the intent to obey is useless, John 5: 38-39.  But, when His Word is studied with the full intent of obedience, trust in Him, then all His promises come to bear in our favor.

Each chapter of Purposely Unchained reveals the fulfillment of Jesus’ promise that He would always be with those who followed Him [with the intent of obedience].

How did He prove that He is greater than anything that occurs in our lives?  And, how is Purposely Unchained unique from other books on purpose, especially for women?  Purposely Unchained contains His Recipe for Rest.    In Purposely Unchained, I call them FAILSAFE, i.e. guaranteed, steps for success.

His goal -for me AND YOU – is GREAT VICTORIOUS faith, FREE of fear.  My goal was reached.  The steps work.
